Diamonds may be forever — but real estate’s not a bad investment either.
Film director Martin Campbell, best known for directing James Bond films such as “GoldenEye” and “Casino Royale,” wants $10.5 million for his Pacific Palisades pad, six years after buying it for just $7.93 million with his wife Solveig Romero.

The six-bedroom, seven-bathroom Mediterranean mansion, on Bienveneda Avenue, totals 10,632 square feet and was designed by Los Angeles-based architect William Hefner and interior designer Kazuko Hoshino. It has custom designed ironwork, mosaic tiles, imported stone and wood floors and an antique fireplace, according to the listing.
The property is listed by David Findley of the Agency. He was not immediately available for comment.
Campbell, who hails from New Zealand, has also directed “The Mask of Zorro,” “The Legend of Zorro” and “Green Lantern.”
