Comedian Ken Jeong, known for his boisterous role in “The Hangover” movies, just bought a 6,700-square-foot home in Calabasas for a lick below $4 million.
The seller was Moshe Barkat, the founder of film production firm Modern Videofilm, the L.A. Times reported. White House Properties’ Anat Erster represented both the buyer and the seller.
Built in 2006, the gated compound has four bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms and two offices. It features a screening room, chef’s kitchen and temperature-controlled wine cellar that holds up to 3,000 bottles.
On the half-acre grounds, there is a long, rectangular swimming pool with spa, built-in barbecue grill and two covered verandas.
Jeong was a series regular on the sitcom “Community” and is currently writing and acting in the medical comedy show “Dr. Ken.” [LAT] — Cathaleen Chen
