The Bratz are bringing their attitude to Chatsworth.

MGA Entertainment, the toy maker behind the big-headed, pouty-lipped dolls, broke ground Thursday on its soon-to-be headquarters at the former L.A. Times printing plant.

MGA’s office will be part of a 24-acre mixed-use campus called 24, developed by MGA CEO Isaac Larian’s son Jason Larian and son-in-law Ryan Hekmat, the Times reported. When complete, the $150 million campus at 20000 Prairie Street will encompass not only commercial space but also several apartment buildings, a dog park, an amphitheater and other public outdoor space.

The project, which is financed by family and investor funds, is the first project undertaken by the younger Larian and Hekmat’s company Uncommon.

MGA is currently headquartered in Van Nuys. [LAT]Cathaleen Chen
