Comedian Russell Peters sold his Studio City laugh pad for $2.5 million.
The Canadian comic bought the Mediterranean-style abode for a sliver under $2 million in 2009, and first listed it for $3 million last summer.
The 5,900-square-foot home has six bedrooms, six bathrooms, a seven-seater theater, a living room with a chrome wall fireplace and an elevator. The master bedroom suite has its own fireplace and balcony. Outside, there’s a patio and pool deck.
Peters’ listing agents were Neil Spanier and Scott Walker of Keller Williams Realty. Hilton & Hyland’s Jonathan Nash represented the buyer.
Meanwhile, the funnyman’s Malibu mansion is still up for grabs for $12 million. Peters listed the remodeled compound for sale in September. [LAT] — Cathaleen Chen
