Commercial brokerage Newmark Grubb Knight Frank is on a poaching spree. The firm quietly hired Will Adams, who was a senior vice president at CBRE for nine years, as a senior managing director, The Real Deal has exclusively learned.
Adams started working out of NGKF’s downtown Los Angeles office last week. He was joined by a member of his team, Norman Lee, who was a first vice president at CBRE. Lee will also hold the title of senior managing director at NGKF.
NGKF sources verified the latest moves at the firm which has been aggressively recruiting. In January, NGKF nabbed renowned broker Kevin Shannon, who left CBRE to be president of its west coast capital markets team, taking 14 team members with him.
Before Adams was at CBRE, he spent 18 years repping tenants for Studley. Adams and Lee will focus on office leasing for both tenants and landlords in their new roles.
CBRE declined to comment. Adams could not immediately be reached for comment.
