Jane Fonda just bought a Century City townhome for $5.45 million with her Beverly Hills digs still on the market, the Los Angeles Times reported.

The 5,730-square-foot property, inside a gated development called the Enclave, has four bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms. It features an open-plan kitchen, an office, a private elevator, staff quarters, a rooftop terrace and a balcony off the master suite.

Fonda’s new home was the last of Enclave’s 10 residences, according to listing agent Susan Smith of Hilton & Hyland. The “Barbarella” actress will be neighbors with comedian Bob Newhart, who bought a townhome in the community for $6.7 million last year.

Coldwell Banker’s Valerie Fitzgerald represented Fonda in the deal.

Fonda and her boyfriend, music producer Richard Perry, listed their Beverly Hills home in the Trousdale Estates earlier this year for $13 million. The asking price has since dropped to about $11.5 million. [LAT]Cathaleen Chen
