USC has named Milton Curry as the new dean for its School of Architecture. He will succeed Qingyun Ma, who will remain on the faculty after serving two five-year terms as dean.
Curry was most recently at the University of Michigan’s Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning, where he was the associate dean for academic affairs and strategic initiatives, the Los Angeles Times reported.
As a designer, he also worked with the Studio Museum in Harlem, New York, and worked for clients such as Def Jam Entertainment.
