A spec mansion on the site of Dean Martin’s longtime Trousdale Estate, built to incorporate what its developer calls “Rat Pack glamour,” just hit the market for $27.95 million.
The style of the more than 10,000-square-foot home at 2002 Loma Vista Drive is reminiscent of the mid-century architecture from the original estate, but with a modern twist, developer Patrik Mirahmadi told The Real Deal.
The five-bedroom, 9.5-bath pad features open-plan living areas, 12-foot ceilings, a full-size theater, a gym and a massage room. Jade Mills of Coldwell Banker has the listing.
Dean Martin called the site home between 1988 and 1995. He purchased it from actor David Janssen, known for his role as Dr. Richard Kimble in the TV series “The Fugitive.”

The property last traded hands in 2014 for $3.9 million, property records show. Mirahmadi, who has developed a handful of homes in Los Angeles, spent $10 million building the spec mansion on the site, he said.
The privacy of the near-acre spread — which sits behind a 200-foot driveway — and its size make it especially attractive to famous people, Mrahmadi said.
