You bet your life the onetime home of funnyman Groucho Marx is on the market.

The home on Sunset Plaza Drive received a Hollywood Regency-style facelift from seller Neel Devani and is now asking $4.2 million.

An entity registered to Devani, a financier turned real-estate investor, purchased the property seven months ago for $3.45 million, the Wall Street Journal reported. He restored the original herringbone wood floors throughout the 3,703-square-foot home.

The four-bedroom, four-bathroom estate also has a large swimmer’s pool, a cascading waterfall from an elevated spa and a shower room with steam and sauna areas.

Marx, born Julius Henry Marx, was the host of game show “You Bet Your Life” and owned the home during the show’s early years. He sold it in 1959 for $35,000, according to the Journal.

Juliet Zacarias of Sotheby’s International Realty has the listing. [WSJ]Subrina Hudson
