Longtime investment advisor Frank Maiorano is selling his Manhattan Beach home with an asking price of $16.5 million. The Hamptons-style estate was the priciest new home listing in Los Angeles last week.
Maiorano, head of registered investment advisors at Baron Capital Inc., designed the 4,237-square-foot home to reflect his Hamptons upbringing, according to listing details.
The three-story home has seven bedrooms, six bathrooms and a master suite with a private deck facing Catalina. The south side of the home also has a two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo with a private entry for visitors or as staff quarters.
Maiorano purchased the home in 2013 for $4.8 million, according to property records.
