A Beverly Hills home once rented by “Law and Order: Special Victims Unit” actor Christopher Meloni and his wife Sherman Williams is on the market for $16 million.
That’s double the $7.4 million its current owner, Foxridge Investments LLC, paid for it in June 2015, records show. It was formerly owned by dancer and choreographer Grover Dale.
Meloni paid $20,000 a month to rent the Spanish-style house on North Palm Drive from Dale for two years until his lease expired in 2015, according to property records.
Santa Monica-based firm Standard Architecture recently redesigned the 1920s-era home on behalf of the current owner. The original architect was Ralph Flewelling.
The 8,500-square-foot home has five bedrooms and eight bathrooms. The living room features the home’s original stained-glass windows, high-beamed ceilings and a stone fireplace. There is also a library with custom cabinetry and a formal dining room that leads to a wine-tasting room and cellar. The first floor has a full maid’s quarters.
Adam Rosenfeld, Kyle Giese and Justine Mandile of Mercer Vine have the listing.
