Carla Sands has had it with the sand.
The Vintage Capital executive and U.S. ambassador to Denmark is looking to sell her 7,500-square-foot villa on Broad Beach, the Los Angeles Times reported.
The two-story home has five bedrooms, a three-car garage and a Crestron smart-home system. Ocean views surround the property.
Coldwell Banker’s Christopher Cortazzo and Hilton & Hyland’s Linda May have the listing.
Sands purchased the property with her late husband, real estate businessman Fred Sands, for $14.7 million, property records show.
Sands joined the president’s economic advisory council in 2016 and was recently nominated to the ambassador position. She also serves on the board of the California Cultural and Historical Endowment. [LAT] – Natalie Hoberman
