The Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center in Los Feliz is planning a $200 million expansion of its facilities over the next decade, the L.A. Business Journal reported.
The center plans to break ground on the first phase of the expansion, which will comprise a new 26,000-square-foot emergency department and parking structure, this November, with completion slated for 2019. The new department will be double the size of the center’s current facility.
“We will be building our emergency department from scratch. It’s going to be a brand new, expanded facility with upgraded equipment,” hospital spokesperson Jae Chung told the Journal.
