Metro, Warner Bros., Boeing and Disney are among the biggest tenants in L.A.
The top 15 office tenants in Los Angeles County take up a whopping 18.2 million square feet of space, and healthcare giant Kaiser Permanente occupies more of it than any other company, according to a TRD analysis of CoStar Group data.
Kaiser’s 3.1 million square feet of occupied space across 51 addresses is just ahead of financial titan Bank of America, which takes up 2.4 million square feet. But the third biggest holder is the county itself. Los Angeles County occupies 2.4 million square feet in, well, Los Angeles County.
Of the top 15 office tenants, five are media or entertainment companies, three are government agencies or institutions and two are banks. Reflecting L.A.’s aerospace history, a manufacturer of airplanes, rockets and satellites (the Boeing Co.), as well as an aerospace and defense company (Raytheon Corp.) also made the cut.
