The eagle has landed…himself a sale.
Timothy Schmit, bass guitarist and vocalist for the seminal rock band Eagles, just sold his Whitley Heights home for a sliver under $2 million, Variety reported.
Described as “the perfect bohemian artist’s retreat” in its listing, the four-bedroom residence built in 1920s Spanish-style has open-plan living spaces including a den, dining room with canyon views, exposed ceiling beams and terraces.
The 3,466-square-foot hillside house has a conjoined guest apartment with its own entrance, kitchen and private loggia.
Schmit bought the property in 2009 for $1.5 million. [Variety] — Cathaleen Chen
